The commercialisaton pathway for both medical technologies and therapeutics can be complex to negotiate, often requiring an expert interpretation of the regulatory requirements – the latter are deliberately designed to be broadly applicable and inclusive. Added layers of complication arise where therapeutics and medical technologies are combined and with digital therapeutics.

The other facet of commercialisation is that it is capital intensive and often a limiting factor for technology development. Our belief is that good technologies, with a clear understanding of regulatory and development milestones can attract the necessary investment for commercialisation. Peritus has strong links with early stage investors within the Life Science and Medical Devices Sectors, together with good links with biopharmaceutical companies.
