Novel Non-animal In-vitro Models For Non-clinical Testing

Novel non-animal models are being developed by many groups worldwide and the market of non-animal testing is forecast to be ~$30 billion by 2030. The demand for non-animal models in drug development is being fuelled by a numbers of factors including the search for more predictive models in man and also significant change in the regulatory environment, for example, the FDA has removed the mandate that required animal testing in the preclinical dossiers.
